Home / About me

Melissa Darnay

My favorite things in life are wine, food, great books and memorable vacations. It turns out, I’m not alone. This is a lifestyle website, so it’s not just about one thing, but about the many things that make up a good life. If you are just interested in wine and not the least interested in books, that’s okay, but hopefully you’ll find your interest piqued in more than one area.

I’ve been in love with wine since I was a child growing up in the middle of a vineyard in California. That grew into a passion for wine that led me around the world on wine-focused vacations where I would spend leisurely days reading a good book on a lounge chair, a glass of wine not too far away. Then in the evening, I’d pack the book away and have course after course of foreign delicacies… paired with wine of course.

When you think about the happiest moments in your life, you are usually surrounded by close friends and family, sharing food and wine, and enjoying being in the moment of flavor, love, life, relationships… and wine.

This website is just like life; it is multi-faceted but centered around wine, friends, travel, fun, and living life to its fullest.

Here is wishing you a passionate, fun-filled life where your glass is always full… of wine.

Cheers,
