Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be married to an underwear model while living in a luxury oceanfront resort in Paradise? My real-life fairy tale is what prompted me to think about writing a mystery thriller. I wanted to juxtapose a beautiful man in a gorgeous setting with a dark overture of murder in a classic Who Dunnit. Kleriston is my very own Brazilian supermodel. Don’t hate, girls… Latin America has plenty of handsome hunks to go around.

Moses Muricy is Kleriston’s brother, and the youngest of eight. (Yes, their mother is a saint.) Moses Souza is the only character in The Panama Affair who is based on a real person, rather than just inspired by. He was my favorite character to write because I got to show off his brilliance, his sweetness, and his overall quirkiness that makes him so unique. Definitely expect to see more of Moses Souza in the upcoming Brianna Morgan books.
