Learning wine can be like learning a sport, which is why I developed this wine for beginners course. After all, every sport has its distinct lingo. When I married a Brazilian and watched my first soccer match (uh, futball, sorry), I had no clue what they were talking about. It was like being at a dinner party where everyone else spoke a different language. If you’ve ever felt like that with wine, you have come to the right place. I will help you demystify wine in a fun and relaxed way. After all, wine and food have been a part of the human culture for thousands of years. Wine is meant to be fun!

Body Styles
A wine’s body style is how heavy it feels in your mouth. For example, water is light in your mouth, milk is heavier, and cream is the heaviest. Click here to see a fun “milk test” video that explains this in detail.
- Light-bodied
- Medium-bodied
- Full-bodied (heavy)
